A nice place secluded from Santa Marta

Our room hat a great view of the ocean and the mountains. It was very fresh in spite of the scorching sun in Santa Marta. In the back part of the hotel there is a estuary, where flocks of cranes and others birds can be seen.

There is usually laud music at the front desk, which can make the lobby, pool, and other common areas a bit annoying. There are also private parties in the cafeteria of the hotel, which can be very laud, and do not let any guests in.

I had the best Cazuella de Mariscos of my life! Really nice restaurant and comfy hammocks in front of the beach - amazing sunset!

Excellent vacations

This Hostel is located just at the front of the beach, then has a wonderful Sunset. The food is excellent and the best, the price vs value is exceptional.

The hostel doesn't have elevator, neither room services, then be advised if you need special attention. On the other hand, its has a river in the back which is really dirty. The customer services could be improved.

Very good

We were exhausted when we arrived and this hostel was exactly what we needed - chilled vibes, beach and pool, great in house restaurant. We liked the location but it is not particularly close to the main action in Santa Marta (which we were happy with). Very close to the airport.

The only thing that would have added to our stay would be getting towels as part of the room. Otherwise, thank you very much Cantamar team!

Right on the beach. Friendly staff. Good view.

Overall i don't like colombian foods. The new cook was not great at cooking. No hot shower and no lift. The toilet got stuck right before we checked out. No beach for swimming in Santa marta.
